7 Newest Offerings at Disney World You Don’t Want to Miss

In the last year, Walt Disney World has seen many new offerings!  We’ve got the rundown of the newest offerings at Disney World that you don’t want to miss below.

7 – Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land

After years of delays due to the pandemic, a new table service restaurant finally opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in March 2023. Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land serves all-you-care-to-eat barbecue-inspired comfort foods. Andy realized his toys needed a place to grab some chow, so he designed a one-of-a-kind dining experience that puts guests in the Toy Story world. The dining room looks and feels like the Toy Story Mania queue. The reviews have been mostly positive, although we didn’t have the best experience! 6 – Happily Ever After Back at Magic Kingdom

During the 50th-anniversary celebration, “Disney Enchantment” never really caught on with guests. The show was heavily criticized. While Disney originally stated that “Happily Ever After” would not return after the 50th-anniversary celebration ended, after the amount of guest feedback, they reversed course and brought back the very popular and loved show, “Happily Ever After.” The show now includes new brand-new projections extending down Main Street, U.S.A. Check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes.

5 – TRON Lightcycle / Run

Another project that had long delays due to the pandemic is TRON Lightcycle / Run. The attraction opened to guests on April 4, 2023. Guests climb aboard Lightcycles for a thrilling race on TRON Lightcycle / Run on the Game Grid. Located in Magic Kingdom Park, it is the fastest coaster attraction in a Disney theme park, alongside its sister coaster at Shanghai Disneyland. The overwhelming consensus is that while the ride is short, it is thrilling and a must-do addition to the Magic Kingdom. A virtual queue is in place for TRON Lightcycle / Run, and guests also have the option to purchase individual Lightning Lane entry for the attraction via the My Disney Experience app on the day of their visit. For our full review, what you need to know, and some ride-cam footage, click here.

4 – Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya at EPCOT

The Japan Pavilion’s newest restaurant, Shiki-Sai: Sushi Izakaya, is a great addition to EPCOT and Walt Disney World. We loved the atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. There is a wide variety of dishes for every taste and budget. We highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back! Read our review below.

3 – Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT

Guests visiting EPCOT can voyage into an all-new adventure with Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. Guests can explore a beautifully landscaped walking trail with fun and surprises around each turn as they engage with water in magical ways like Moana did with the ocean – from a simple greeting to a high five or even a crashing wave of fun. This lush and tropical path is the first Disney Parks experience to immerse guests into a world inspired by the hit Walt Disney Animation Studios film, “Moana.” The newest attraction in Walt Disney World is part of a multi-year transformation of EPCOT as the Walt Disney Company continues to invest in growth across its theme parks and create unique experiences for guests.

2 – World Celebration Gardens at EPCOT

On December 5, 2023, World Celebration Gardens opened at EPCOT. The new area includes Dreamers Point, where guests can draw inspiration from the new “Walt the Dreamer” statue, which shows Walt later in his life when he was dreaming up the initial concepts for the park and the overall Florida Project. His relaxed and reflective demeanor was important to the design of this statue, a nod to the pure optimism he felt for the future and the magic of possibility that was the basis for the dream he never saw come to life.

The beautiful greenspaces throughout the World Celebration Gardens feature ample seating and shade and a central planter based on the five rings of the iconic EPCOT logo. Guests are invited to connect with one another and the nature around them in this lush new area. Each of the garden spaces has its own identity and changes with the EPCOT festivals throughout the year.

1 – Luminous the Symphony of Us at EPCOT

A brand new nighttime spectacular, “Luminous the Symphony of Us,” also debuted on December 5. It brings guests together around World Showcase Lagoon and shines a light on the shared experiences that connect people across the globe. With a dazzling display of fireworks, fountains, lights, and music, the new show will be the perfect finale to a memorable day at EPCOT.

Much like a beautiful piece of music, “Luminous the Symphony of Us” is made up of a series of movements representing common themes of the human experience. Guests can expect to hear new arrangements of iconic Disney hits that enliven the story. The fountains and the fireworks are beautiful! You don’t want to miss this!

Chad & Cindy Nykamp

After years of multiple Walt Disney World vacations, Cindy and Chad's dream of living in Orlando came true in 2010. After friends and family made them their go-to-people for Walt Disney World advice, Cindy and Chad launched DisneyLists.com in August 2015 to share their knowledge and love of Disney. Chad and Cindy have been Disney World Annual Passholders for years, DVC members, together have raced more than 70 runDisney races, and particularly love cruising on the Disney Cruise Line. Chad and Cindy also regularly represent DisneyLists.com at Walt Disney World media events. While attending these events, they get an insiders view of all the new things that have come to Walt Disney World. These experiences have helped them gain knowledge and expertise they happily pass on to their followers. They still can't believe how lucky they are to have such an amazing opportunity and will continue to share Disney with anyone who will listen!
