10 DO’s and DON’Ts for Disney’s FastPass+ System

Disney’s FastPass+ is a great service that is included at no extra charge for all guests.  Disney World’s FastPass+, a computerized system introduced in 2014, allows guests to reserve a time to ride a ride, see a show or meet a character and skip the regular line. Guests start by picking the three experiences they really want to enjoy on a particular day and they are given a one-hour window for each to return and bypass the regular line. You even get to choose the time windows that you use the FastPass+ selection for, so that you can fit everything perfectly into your vacation.  Usually, a FastPass+ reservation can save you a lot of time waiting in seriously long lines. Using FastPass+ is optional, but there really is no reason I can think of why you wouldn’t want to take advantage of the service. To help, here are 10 DO’s and DON’Ts to get the most out of your selections.

Kristin

Hi! I’m Kristin, and I am a wife and mother of 2 young boys (ages 5 and 2). I first fell in love with Disney when my mom took me when I was a child. After that I proceeded to go to WDW for my senior trip with my friends, and I completed a year in the Disney College Program (working in merchandise at Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). I shared my love of Disney with my now husband and sucked him in. We vacationed at Walt Disney World 2-3 times per year. We decided that what maked more sense was just moving to Orlando so that we could live the Disney life and be here for all of our favorite events and seasons every year. That is exactly what we did! Now we are at the parks a couple times a week and go for most events and major holidays. We can’t get enough and get to experience Disney in a whole different way.
