A Spooktacular Review of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
6 – Ghost-Town Like Attractions:
The regular park admission guests clear out by 8pm at the latest. This is a good time to focus on attractions you didn’t have a chance to FastPass earlier as you stroll through the park. We especially enjoy riding Haunted Mansion during MNSSHP. It just sets the mood for the whole party! Plus, you’ll want to be sure to check out the Magic Spot once you exit the attraction which has the Hitchhiking Ghosts (more on that below). Keep in mind that not all attractions are open during the party. For example, the Jungle Cruise and Enchanted Tiki Room were not open but were instead used as treat locations. We didn’t feel however that there was a shortage of attractions to hit with the 20+ attractions still open throughout the party. Attraction lines overall are much shorter than you’ll find them on regular park days. Plus, lines tend to lessen later into the night or during some of the main entertainment events that take place if you aren’t interested in watching the parade and/or fireworks. We can remember last year riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad three times in a row without even getting off. Cast Members just let us stay on and ride! Photo Credit: Disney Photo Snapper
