A Spooktacular Review of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

4- Epic and Eerie Entertainment, Cont. …

Mickey’s “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade is a total must-do! If we had to pick just one thing to do at the MNSSHP, it would be to see the parade. It’s just that good! The parade takes place two times a night (9:15pm and 11:15pm). The 11:15pm parade is much less crowded so if possible, we recommend this one but if 9:15pm works better no worries, just line up early along the parade route listed on your park map to have a good view. The parade begins with the grim grandmaster… the Headless Horseman. He rides down the parade route about 5 minutes before the parade actually starts to clear the way for the ghosts and goblins on their way. The parade is full of detailed floats caring Disney Characters in their Halloween Costumes. From evil Villains to the sweet Mickey and Minnie Mouse, it’s fun to see them all paraded by. Our favorite part is the grave-diggers that scrap their shovels as they dance by! Parents – no worries, this is really a fun parade. Our 9-year-old and even our 2-year-old we not scared at all. We think it’s the fun music and normal characters spread throughout the parade that make it so family-friendly and no scary for our kiddos. Photo Credit: Disney Photo Snapper

We have had a long time love affair with Disney. We love the magic and the memories we've made at Walt Disney World! We follow all things Disney and have great experiences with being Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and RunDisney participants. From lodging to dining to Genie+ we have a spreadsheet for every occasion. Usually there isn’t a day that passes without some discussion of the master plan of our next trip to the happiest place on earth. Most people think we’re normal – until they travel to Disney with us.
