A Spooktacular Review of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

14 – Spooky Logistics:

Let’s get through the spooky logistics first! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (we’ll abbreviate as MNSSHP) is a special ticketed event that takes place at Magic Kingdom on select dates from late August to early November. This year’s parties are from 7pm to midnight between August 25 and November 1, 2017. Being that it is a “special ticketed event”, you do have to purchase an extra ticket for the party. Your regular Magic Kingdom park admission is not enough to get you into the party. The good news is you don’t need to have the MNSSHP ticket plus park admission. All you need is your special event ticket to gain access to the party. Ticket prices vary from $74 per adult and $69 per child ages 3-9, all the way to $115 per adult and $110 per child. The closer you get to Halloween, MNSSHP tickets gets more popular and more expensive. For this reason, book your tickets asap! You’ll want to check on specific party dates and ticket costs. We prefer to attend one of the earlier parties. Not only is it a fun way to get the fall season started, but the crowds are typically smaller. We’ve gone closer to Halloween and the park seemed full. Stick with the earlier parties. Alright, now that the cobwebs are pushed to the side, let’s catch a doombuggy and head to the party!

We have had a long time love affair with Disney. We love the magic and the memories we've made at Walt Disney World! We follow all things Disney and have great experiences with being Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and RunDisney participants. From lodging to dining to Genie+ we have a spreadsheet for every occasion. Usually there isn’t a day that passes without some discussion of the master plan of our next trip to the happiest place on earth. Most people think we’re normal – until they travel to Disney with us.
