(redirect) A One Day Plan: The Must-Do Attractions At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Guests who love the movies simply must visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. The park invites guests to step directly into the movies and star in their very own adventures alongside famous faces and places. While spending time in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests can rock out with Aerosmith, fly through the Star Wars universe, enter into The Twilight Zone, play with the Toy Story gang, and laugh along with the Muppets. With so many amazing experiences to be had in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it is impossible to see it all in one day. However, guests who want to make the most of their time in the park can follow a simple plan to see as many must-do attractions as possible in one day. Here is the one day plan to see as many must-do attractions as possible in Walt Disney World’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

1 – Toy Story Mania

To kick off a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios the right way, guests should arrive at the park right when it opens to ensure that they are some of the first guests inside. Guests should then head over to the insanely popular Toy Story Mania in Pixar Place. The attraction magically shrinks guests down to the size of toys to compete in a series of 3D midway games with Woody, Buzz, and the Toy Story gang. Since guests can compete with each other, competitive streaks come out and many guests love to return time and time again to best their own high scores. Since Toy Story Mania is so popular, it can easily have ridiculously long wait times on normal days in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, so those who want to enjoy the must-do experience without losing a lot of time to waiting in line should visit first thing in the morning when there aren’t many crowds.

2 – Great Movie Ride

A classic attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that is a must-do is located at the end of Hollywood Boulevard in a replica of Garuman’s Chinese Theater. The Great Movie Ride allows guests to step directly into their favorite classic films like Casablanca, Tarzan, Indianan Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, and the Wizard of Oz. Guests can glide along in massive attraction vehicles and relive scenes from these beloved films while enjoying a narration that is partially live and partially recorded. Guests should visit the Great Movie Ride in the morning hours to avoid a long wait time.

3 – The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Located on the end of Sunset Boulevard is an attraction that is both looming and ominous. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is housed in the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel which was quickly deserted after a strange occurrence many years ago. Guests who venture inside learn that five guests mysteriously disappeared into The Twilight Zone after their elevator was struck by lightning. Suddenly guests find themselves aboard a service elevator and in for the same fate as they are at the mercy of the tower. Since The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is so popular, it generally has long wait times on busy days in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests who want to enjoy the must-do experience should book a FastPass to avoid losing lots of time spent waiting on line.

4 – Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith

Located right next door to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is the thrilling Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. The attraction invites guests into G Force Records where they have a chance encounter with the band as they record their next big hit. After being invited to a concert across town, guests soon find themselves in a super stretch limo launching from zero to sixty to make it to the show on time. The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith packs some big thrills making it very popular with guests in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Those who want to enjoy the must-do experience should take advantage of the Single Rider line which lets them enjoy the same attraction but with a fraction of the wait time so long as they don’t mind being split up at the loading area.

5 – Star Tours – The Adventure Continues

Fans of the Star Wars universe simply must experience Star Tours – The Adventure Continues on a day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The attraction has guests board a routine Star Tours flight which suddenly turns into an epic adventure when it is discovered that a Rebel Spy is on board. Guests can then enjoy a series of randomized 3D scenes which feature locations from the films and recognizable characters like Yoda and Darth Vader. Since Star Tours – The Adventure Continues is a randomized experience each time, many guests love to experience it over and over again making the wait time generally high. Those looking to enjoy the must-do attraction should opt to book a FastPass for the experience.

6 – Muppet Vision 3D

No attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is guaranteed to make guests laugh as hard as Muppet Vision 3D. Located on the Streets of America, the attraction invites guests into the Muppets’ laboratories where they have discovered the spirit of 3D. Soon chaos occurs as only the Muppets can create, and guests will find themselves laughing along throughout the show. Muppet Vision 3D is a must-do attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and rarely has a wait time since guests can enjoy a preshow video while waiting to enter into the main theater.

7 – Voyage of the Little Mermaid

Guests who love the classic Disney animated film The Little Mermaid can’t miss a must-do attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that brings the film to life. Voyage of the Little Mermaid retells Ariel’s story through live acting, puppets, animation, special effects, and wonderful musical numbers. Guests will find themselves singing along and enjoying the story in a whole new way. Voyage of the Little Mermaid is a must-do experience in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the show runs continuously throughout each day.
