15 Best Quick Eats at Disney’s Magic Kingdom

There are so many delicious eats through the entire Magic Kingdom that it is extremely difficult to pick the top 15, but we went ahead and made our best effort to narrow it down. With so many options when you are looking for something quick, this may help you out! Here is a look at the 15 best quick eats when you are at the Magic Kingdom:

15 – Mickey’s Kitchen Sink Sundae – Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, Main Street, U.S.A.

With this sundae, you get a choice of hot fudge, peanut butter or caramel topped with whipped cream and two cherries, all with your choice of 2 hand-scoops of ice cream. The treat is also served in a Mickey kitchen sink container, too!  It is fun and an extremely popular treat at the Magic Kingdom.

14 – Braised Pork – Be Our Guest Restaurant, Fantasyland

During lunch Be Our Guest is a quick service restaurant with a variety soup, salads, sandwiches and other offerings.  The braised pork is prepared in Coq Au Vin style.  It is an eight hour slow-cooked pork with mushrooms, carrots, and bacon that is served with mashed potatoes and green bean jardinière.  This meal will definitely tide you over until dinner time and maybe beyond!

13 – Dole Whip – Aloha Isle, Adventureland

The Dole Whip is one of the most popular treats in all of Walt Disney World.  This used to be the only location that you could find this refreshing treat, but it has since spread to other parks and resorts around Walt Disney World.  This pineapple soft serve is a treat that you don’t want to miss out on trying!

12- Hot Dog of the Month – Casey’s Corner, Main Street, U.S.A.

Casey’s Corner is home to some of the most unique hot dogs that you will experience.  There is a different hot dog each month.  You never know what delicious flavor combinations that Casey’s Corner will come up with next, so drop by each month to see what they are offering.

11 – Lobster Roll – Columbia Harbour House, Liberty Square

The delicious take on the lobster roll is made with chilled lobster with a touch of mayonnaise on a New England style bun, served with house-made potato chips.  This perfect roll is an authentic taste of New England and unlike anything you would expect to find within a theme park.

10 – Cinnamon Rolls – Gaston’s Tavern, Fantasyland

For the best cinnamon rolls ever, you have to head on over to Gaston’s Taverns and have one of these. They are huge, warm and covered with icing. You can try out the popular LeFou’s Brew while you are there, too. It is a perfect spot to stop for a little treat to recharge so you can tackle the rest of your day at Magic Kingdom.

9 – Loaded Buffalo Chicken Tots – The Friar’s Nook, Fantasyland

This unique and tasty snack is a tray of crispy tots with buffalo chicken, celery and blue cheese on top. The combination of flavors is delicious and one that you definitely have to try.  Definitely consider this one when you are looking for a quick snack to enjoy.

8 – Fajita Platter – Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, Frontierland

This delicious entrée is served with spicy barbacoa beef and seasoned chicken with yellow rice, beans, fajita vegetables and flour tortillas.  It is a pretty hearty meal, so definitely make sure to come hungry for this one.

7 – Flatbreads – Pinocchio Village Haus, Fantasyland

There are a variety of different flatbreads that are offered, like the Caprese Flatbread, Cheese Flatbread, Pepperoni Flatbread and a featured flatbread for each month.  If you pick the right seat, you can even watch guests on It’s A Small World while you dine, making the experience extra magical.

6 – Waffle Sandwiches – Sleepy Hollow, Liberty Square

You can’t go wrong with any of the waffle sandwich options at Sleepy Hollow.  My personal favorite is definitely the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich, which is a delicious fresh waffle that is topped with chocolate-hazelnut spread and fresh fruit.  There is also the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Waffle Sandwich, which is a tasty mix of sweet and savory flavors.

5 – Chipotle Barbecue Short Rib – Tortuga Tavern, Adventureland

This entrée features tasty ribs that are served with a citrus slaw and a side of chips. It is definitely a full meal and perfectly fitting with the Adventureland theme.

4 – Cheshire Cat Tail – Cheshire Café, Fantasyland

This sweet treat is as cute as it is delicious.  It is a delicious pastry topped with purple and pink icing stripes, making the perfect themed treat to snack on.

3 – Pulled Pork Sandwich – Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, Tomorrowland

This delicious sandwich is filled with BBQ pulled pork and served with French Fries.   If you aren’t a fan of pulled pork, then there is also menu items like hamburgers, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, salads and more.  There is definitely something for everyone.  Plus, you can be there for Cosmic Ray’s performance while you dine.

2 – Barbecue Pork Rinds – Golden Oak Outpost, Frontierland

This is a classic favorite, so you get a nice taste of the comfort from home while at Walt Disney World. It is great to get a simple treat at times when you are just looking for something to crunch on while you are out and about in the parks.

1 – Ice Cream Float – Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies, Tomorrowland

An ice cream float is a favorite for adults and kids, alike.  The ice cream float at Auntie Gravity’s is a great way to cool down during a hot day in the parks.  With this ice cream float option you get to choose your fountain beverage as well as what soft-serve ice cream you want. You can go for a classic float like root beer with vanilla or you can try something totally unique!

About Christy Caby

Hi! I’m Christy, and I am a wife and mother of 2 young boys (ages 5 and 2). I first fell in love with Disney when my mom took me when I was a child. After that I proceeded to go to WDW for my senior trip with my friends, and I completed a year in the Disney College Program (working in merchandise at Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). I shared my love of Disney with my now husband and sucked him in. He proposed at Disney, we honeymooned at Disney, we started bringing our boys before they were born and then as early as 8 weeks old. We then continued to vacation to Walt Disney World 2-3 times per year. We decided that what makes more sense than just moving to Orlando so that we could live the Disney life and be here for all of our favorite events and seasons every year. That is exactly what we did! Now we are at the parks a couple times a week and go for most events and major holidays. We can’t get enough and get to experience Disney in a whole different way. I love to share this love and passion for all things Disney with the world and hope that I can help others appreciate the magic that Walt Disney World has to offer!
