Ultimate Character Checklist: 8 Places to Meet Donald Duck at Disney World

We’re not sure if it’s his hard to understand duck voice, his big yellow duck feet, or our ability to relate to his temperamental meltdowns… but Donald Duck truly is #1 in our opinion! He may sit ever so impatiently in the shadow of Mickey Mouse, but Donald has without a doubt made a name for himself and has a huge fan base cheering him on.

If you’re seeking out that memorable moment with Donald Duck, check out these 8 places to meet him – each one with different attire for that unforgettable photo and autograph. Keep in mind that character meet and greets do change regularly at Disney World, so you’ll want to be sure to check your My Disney Experience App and/or Times Guide to ensure Donald is still in one of the locations below and at the appropriate time when you are visiting. We wouldn’t want you storming out angrily as Donald would if he expected something that wasn’t there! Finally, be sure to keep an eye out for him as he may just pop up in random locations throughout the parks.

This information is accurate as of June 8, 2018. Please check Time Guides for the most up-to-date information as Donald is a popular duck and his schedule (and his friends’ schedules) may change!

About Mike & Jamie Sylvester

We are Disney nerds. Two kids at heart who love the magic and the memories of Walt Disney World! We follow all things Disney and have great experiences with being Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and RunDisney participants. We enjoy the vacations, day trips, weekend getaways and geek out over the planning of such events. From lodging to dining to Fastpasses we have a spreadsheet for every occasion. Mike’s frivolous Disney goal is to acquire as many MagicBands as possible while Jamie’s goal is to experience as many Disney desserts as possible. Usually there isn’t a day that passes without some discussion of the master plan of our next trip to the happiest place on earth. Most people think we’re normal – until they travel to Disney with us. We have been married for 13 years and are blessed with two children - our 8-year-old daughter and soon to be 2-year-old son. As a family we thoroughly enjoy the magic and the memories at Walt Disney World and are here to help others experience the magic as well.
