11 Places to Find the Best Burgers at Disney World

What makes for a good burger? We personally like burgers that you have to hold with two hands, drip sauces and meat juice onto your plate, provide a unique bite that makes our taste buds sing praises, and leave us requesting a wet wipe to follow. If this is your style as well, these 11 places to find the best burgers at Walt Disney World won’t let you down!

11 – T-REX @ Disney Springs

Feature Burger – Guac-asaurus Burger

We know you are probably rolling your eyes at seeing T-REX on this list for best burger! But hear us out as we too were extremely surprised to find such delish burgers at this lively, prehistoric (do those two words work together?!) Disney Springs restaurant. The go-to here is the Guac-asaurus Burger which of course is slathered with guacamole! Top that off with a fried onion ring, pickles, lettuce, tomato, Pepper Jack cheese and you’ve got yourself the perfect carnivore’s burger. They also have the 44 Farms Burger which is what they call a “Texas all-natural Angus beef”, or the Bronto Burger and the Doublesaurus Burger. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!

10 – Pecos Bill’s Tall Tale Inn and Cafe @ Magic Kingdom

Feature Burger – Taco Burger

That’s right – a quick service location has made the list! Pecos Bill’s in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland boasts a tex-mex flare that eases wonderfully into their burger selections. The highlight here is the Taco Burger which is a burger patty topped with taco seasoned ground beef and pepper jack cheese. The best part, however, is that you can make this burger your own with the free topping bar. Load it up with all your favorites and enjoy! If the Taco Burger is a little much, the Southwest Burger is a good pick!

9 – Sanaa – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Feature Burger – Sanaa Burger

Stampede over with us to Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kidani Village for an intimate meal you won’t forget. Sanaa is a perfect date spot where one can enjoy a well-priced meal for this table-service restaurant. During the lunch service, Sanaa offers a delicious burger known as simply the Sanaa Burger. Cooked to perfection, you can’t go wrong with this burger! You’ll especially love that it’s topped with spiced mustard and Peppadew-goat cheese as it is served on a Naan Bun. Sounds like an easy enough burger, right? But it boasts a whole lot of flavor!

8 – Planet Hollywood @ Disney Springs

Feature Burger – Bacon Mac-n-Cheese Burger

Guy Fieri has come to town and rejuvenated our faith in Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs, Town Center. He totally revamped the menu which now presents Guy’s Big Bite Burgers. The Plain Jane Cheeseburger sounds simple enough, right… but it’s got a ton of great flavor. Our burger recommendation, however, is the Bacon Mac-n-Cheese Burger. This is Guy’s award-winning burger and it’s understandable why. Smoked bacon, a six-cheese mac-n-cheese, crispy onion straws, and donkey sauce melt together wonderful. Others to mention are the Original Ringer, Prime Time American Kobe, and Morgan’s Veggie Burger. Guy nailed it!

7 – Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater @ Hollywood Studios

Feature Burger – Seasonal Specialty Burger (when available)

We must include the American-cuisine table service restaurant known as Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater located in Hollywood Studios! Not only are you dining in a car and watching old film clips on the big screen, but the food here is rather impressive. The burgers are our usual pick as they just match the restaurant atmosphere perfectly. Be sure to ask your server what the Sci-Fi Seasonal Specialty Burger is at the present time. Pretty much no matter what it is, we like to go this route to change things up! But, if we aren’t interested or if no specialty burger is available, we love the Beef and Blue Burger which is topped with blue cheese, onion marmalade, bacon, lettuce, and tomato. We should note, this comes from people who aren’t huge blue cheese fans. In this case, however, we love it! Other notable burgers are the Drive-Inn BBQ Burger, Vegetarian Falafel Burger, and the Classic American Burger. Enjoy the ride!

 6 – ESPN Club @ Disney’s BoardWalk

Feature Burger – Caprese Burger

We must say, we were rather surprised that ESPN Club made it so high on our list of burger favorites. It’s a typical sports bar/restaurant but burger memories always seem to stem from this location! Have a look at their awesome burger options such as the Crunch Burger, Reuben Burger, and Smokehouse Burger. These are all great selections, but our favorite has to be the uniquely tasting Caprese Burger. This burger has a different but fantastic taste, unlike any other burgers we’ve tried. Its fresh house-made mozzarella is the star player, but it’s also topped with marinated tomatoes, arugula, basil and balsamic. This is a memorable burger!

 5 – Kona Café @ Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Feature Burger – Island-Style Beef Burger

Kona Café at the Polynesian Village Resort may seem like an interesting choice for this list because they really don’t have much of a burger list. BUT – they do have THE burger that we can’t get enough of. It’s called the Island-Style Beef Burger that is actually a beef patty with Char Siu pork belly. To make it more appealing, you must know it comes with a poached egg, Havarti cheese, mustard greens, spicy mayonnaise, and pickled onions. And finally, the best part – the Pineapple Brioche Bun it comes on! YUM!

4 – Yak & Yeti Restaurant @ Animal Kingdom

Feature Burger – Kobe Beef Burger

It may seem odd having a primarily Asian cuisine restaurant on a burger list. But, Yak & Yeti in Animal Kingdom’s Asia is an easy high-ranking burger joint on our list! While they don’t have loads of burger selections, the burgers they do have is what keeps us coming back for more. We crave the Kobe Beef Burger which is a hefty burger with sesame-soy mayonnaise, crispy shoestring fries and topped with either shiitake mushroom and scallion compote or an Asian slaw. They also have the 44 Farms Burger which we mentioned above at T-Rex (same ownership).

3 – Geyser Point Bar & Grill @ Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort

Feature Burger – Bison Cheeseburger

We were so thrilled to hear this quick-service/table-service restaurant was coming to Wilderness Lodge Resort! We were happier when we had the chance to experience a meal here and enjoy the beautiful, open air, sites all around us. The food was on point which is what definitely puts the featured Bison Cheeseburger on this list. If you haven’t tried it yet, add this one to the to-do list! The best part about the Bison Burger is that it offers a super juicy piece of meat that is topped with Tillamook cheddar, sweet onion straws, lettuce, tomato, and a heavenly Marionberry barbecue sauce. The perfect culmination of goodness! The Classic Bacon Cheeseburger is another won’t disappoint. Enjoy!

El Diablo Burger and fries at D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs

2 – D-Luxe Burger @ Disney Springs

Feature Burger – Barbecue Burger

The “Burger” in D-Luxe Burger should say it all. The folks at D-Luxe Burger seem to have one goal in mind… to serve up amazing burgers! And that they do and do well. This quick-service restaurant in Town Center at Disney Spring has a menu loaded with mouthwatering burgers. If you find someone that shares your love for burgers, try one of their Duos with options like two classic cheeseburgers, one classic and one premium burger, or two premium burgers. If you want your own plate, we’d recommend the Barbecue Burger which is topped with a fried onion ring, smoked gouda, bacon, excellent barbecue sauce, grilled onion, and lettuce. More menu options include the Southern Burger (with a fried green tomato!), El Diablo Burger, and yes, even their Veggie Burger is delicious! D-Luxe Burger is the true burger aficionado.

1 – The Edison @ Disney Springs

Feature Burger – The Edison

This one is the newest restaurant that’s on this list! The Edison in Disney Springs Landing is stirring up all sorts of popularity because people are dining and leaving with great reviews. Repeat guests, first-timers… we expect The Edison to only continue to be a fan favorite. They are rocking the burgers too with well – the most popular one being – The Edison. You’ll see this baby and your jaw will likely drop. This is no simple burger but is a slathering of signature meats like sirloin, short rib, and brisket with loads of cheddar cheese, and topped with onion rings, smoked bacon, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and an intriguing special sauce. It’s one impressive burger! If this one scares you off, try the Grass-fed Lamb Burger or The Impossible Burger (it’s vegan).
