We recently shared some of the amazing food treats available during the party, and now we’re thrilled to share some of the special party merchandise available to guests! Here are all the details from Disney Cast Member, Steven Miller:

The witching hour’s almost here as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns to Magic Kingdom Park on select nights from August 17 to October 31, 2018. This family fun event for kids of all ages is all about collecting treats, meeting Disney characters, and enjoying villainous entertainment from “Spelltacular” stage shows to parades. This year, event guests will be running “amuck, amuck, amuck” after seeing specially designed merchandise inspired by a beloved Halloween movie.

“Guests who grew up watching the Sanderson Sisters in Disney’s ‘Hocus Pocus’ every Halloween will love merchandise saluting the film’s 25th Anniversary,” explained Cathy Dawson, product developer for Walt Disney World Events. “From apparel to a Passholder exclusive tote bag, these items are a great way to remember both the motion picture and the wonderful ‘Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular’ stage show hosted by the sisters during the party.”

New this year, Cathy developed three T-shirts resembling outfits worn by the Sanderson Sisters.

“Guests are encouraged to dress in costumes at this event, so the T-shirts are an easy way to create an instant Halloween outfit,” continued Cathy.

Other “Hocus Pocus” products include a black-colored Spirit Jersey adorned with a phrase uttered by the mischievous siblings, a cauldron-shaped mug, and a light-up ornament complete with a sculpted image of the trio.

Guests will also find returning favorites such as short- and long-sleeved apparel, and a brightly colored ear hat ornament. Painted with orange, black and purple hues, each item shows Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse enjoying the festivities while dressed for the season.

Annual Passholders will discover several exclusively developed products, from a raglan top that has glow-in-the-dark printing to an Orange Bird collectible pin. These items will only be sold to Passholders, making them an extra special treat.

Other pins this year showcase Disney characters enjoying sweet party treats such as popcorn, cupcakes, and candy.

A villain-inspired boxed pin set adds an element of mystery to the evening. There are 12 pins in this collection and each box contains two randomly selected pins, which includes four limited edition chaser pins.

Rounding out the event merchandise collection, guests will find a retail MagicBand with an edition size of 4,000. Presented in a decorative box with glow-in-the-dark ink, guests can use this MagicBand 2 design to unlock the magic of a Disney vacation, from going directly to their resort room after their arrival to effortless theme-park entry, FastPass+ redemption, Disney PhotoPass association and more.

The best locations to find these items during the event is Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. and Big Top Souvenirs in the Storybook Circus area of New Fantasyland. Frontier Trading Post in Frontierland will also offer the event pins.

3 – Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular

Returning again this year is the popular “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” show! Disney villains will create a Hocus Pocus Party Potion that will cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom! The Sanderson Sisters, from “Hocus Pocus,” have a few hours to run wild during the Party. Winifred, Mary, and Sarah decide to use their magic to host a wicked fun fest. With the help of other Disney villains, such as Dr. Faciller, Oogie Boogie, and Maleficent, the three sisters work to cast a spell on everyone in Magic Kingdom Park! The show features amazing dancers, wild visual projections and otherworldly special effects to make Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular not-to-be-missed Halloween treat! This show is performed multiple times at the Castle Forecourt Stage at 8:30 pm, 10:45 pm and 12:00 am.

2 – Happy HalloWishes

Also, don’t miss the Halloween themed “Happy HalloWishes” Fireworks at 10:15 pm. The Ghost Host from the Haunted Mansion invites you to “drop in” as Disney Villains light up the night with fireworks and a wicked version of melodies from Disney’s past that echo through the night—and creepy colors crawl over Cinderella Castle. The “scare-abration” gets into full swing when some of the Disney Villains we most love to hate—including Maleficent, Ursula, Cruella de Vil, Jafar and Oogie Boogie—croon their scary tunes and do their best to steal the show.

The soundtrack for this fireworks display is a fun-filled spooky treat. Happy HalloWishes includes a Disney soundtrack of creepy classics including:

  • “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” from the Haunted Mansion attraction
  • “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” from The Little Mermaid
  • “Never Smile at a Crocodile,“ from Peter Pan
  • “The Skeleton Dance,” from Silly Symphony – The Skeleton Dance
  • “Who’s Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?” from The Three Little Pigs
  • “Oogie Boogie’s Song,” from The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • “Night on Bald Mountain,” from Fantasia

We have the music at home and love listening to it during Halloween time! This is a great fireworks show that you won’t want to miss!

1 – Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade

Finally, the Halloween Party features “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade,” which we personally believe is Disney’s best parade! Your favorite Disney characters are all dressed up for Halloween with fun music, dancing, and treats! This parade begins in Frontierland with not to be missed viewing of the Headless Horseman! Be sure to line up early so you don’t miss the Headless Horseman who opens the parade with a haunting ride. Watching the Headless Horseman gallop through Magic Kingdom on that giant black horse is chilling. We also love catching the gravediggers from The Haunted Mansion. You won’t want to miss this parade! The parade is at 9:15 pm and 11:15 pm.
