12 Best Quick Eats at Disney World Resorts

There are so many great places to get a quick bite around Walt Disney World.  Many guests forget about the resorts, but that would definitely be a mistake since there are so many great dining options at each of them. There are too many great options to mention, but we wanted to call out 12 of the best quick eat options found at the Disney resorts. Take a look below:

12 – Teriyaki-Glazed Angus Chuck Burger – Oasis Bar & Grill, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

This delicious burger isn’t like your typical burger.  This one is topped with pork belly and grilled pineapple.  It is also served with either French fries or a green cabbage slaw.  It is the perfect blend of Hawaiian flavors and one that you won’t want to miss.  The location also offers sushi, fish tacos and a variety of other great dishes, too.

11 – Oysters Rockefeller – Crew’s Cup Lounge, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

These amazing oysters are served with cottage bacon and creamed spinach. They are the perfectly themed dish to have while at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.  The lounge is typically open from 5 PM to 10 PM to enjoy delicious dishes and drinks.  I like pairing this one with a Superfruit Margarita!

10 – Lump Crab Cake Sandwich – Geyser Point Bar & Grill, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Crab cakes are delicious on their own, but it was a genius idea to add them to a sandwich!  The sandwich includes a house-made Canadian bacon, spicy cabbage-carrot slaw, and miso tartar sauce.  It is served on an artisan roll, and you get a choice of multigrain salad or waffle fries with the sandwich!  This is definitely a delicious take on this filling sandwich.

9 – Curried Tuna Salad – Maji Pool Bar, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village

This is a very unique and tasty take on tuna salad.  It is prepared with sultana raisins and madras curry.  It is then served in a lettuce cup alongside pita wedges.  It is light and refreshing for a day at the pool and a perfect quick eat option to tide you over until you have a larger meal.

Pressed Turkey Sandwich

8 – Pressed Turkey Sandwich – The Sand Bar, Disney’s Contemporary Resort

This sandwich is served with white cheddar, cranberry aioli, arugula and bacon on brioche.  It is also served with tasty house-made chips on the side. It is a refreshing blend of flavors to enjoy poolside while taking a break from the water fun in the sun.

7 – Oak-Fired Rotisserie Chicken Dinner – The Mara, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House

This meal is only served after 5 PM, but it is worth the wait!  The chicken is perfectly cooked and delicious.  It is served with Yukon gold mashed potatoes and a seasonal vegetable option for a complete meal.  The location also offers a variety of flatbreads, sandwiches, ribs and more, so you are sure to find something perfect for the entire family.

6 – Seafood Jalapeno Poppers – Martha’s Vineyard, Disney’s Beach Club Resort

I am a nut for jalapeno poppers, so I always have to try them when I see them.  These definitely didn’t disappoint!  They are a delicious twist on this favorite served with a cilantro-lime aioli.  They are a perfect snack.  Martha’s Vineyard is only open for the later hours and is more of a lounge type place, so you can snack on these with a delicious drink after a long day in the parks!

5 – Blackened Fish “Reuben” – Gasparilla Island Grill, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

I love a good Reuben and this totally different take is also delicious.  It is made with blackened fish that is served with house-made cabbage slaw on top of marble rye bread.  The sandwich is accompanied by French fries to complete the meal. It is very flavorful and a light, refreshing sandwich during a hot day in the parks.

4 – Market Nachos – El Mercado de Coronado (formerly Pepper Market), Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Nachos are a guilty pleasure of mine, so I can’t resist them.  I love that at this location you can pick your own nacho toppings.  You have a base of corn tortilla chips, then a choice of chicken or beef.  You get them topped with cheese sauce and refried beans.  Then you can pick from a variety of other toppings.  It’s not the healthiest option in the world, but calories don’t count at Disney!

Mickey Beignets

3 – Beignets – Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

You can’t visit this resort and not try the beignets.  They are the perfect taste of New Orleans right within Walt Disney World.  You can also add dipping sauces including caramel, raspberry or chicory coffee ganache for an additional charge.  Definitely get enough for the whole family as these will go quick!

2 – Fried Chicken – Everything POP Shopping & Dining, Disney’s Pop Century Resort

This is a classic that will give you the complete comfort food feel while on vacation.  This is straight from “Mom’s Kitchen” at the resort and is delicious house-made fried chicken that is served with two choices of sides.  Of course, we recommend that mashed potatoes be one of those side selections!  There are a few other favorites from “Mom’s Kitchen” as well as a variety of other grill items.  You definitely won’t go hungry!

1 – Bistro Buffalo Chicken Panini – The Artist’s Palette, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Anything is delicious when it has buffalo sauce on it!  Ok, well maybe not anything, but buffalo sauce definitely draws me in to give it a try! This Panini is made with pulled chicken that has been tossed in buffalo sauce on a toasted multigrain roll.  It is topped with a bleu cheese spread with carrots and celery.  It is rich and tasty, which makes it a perfect quick eat option.

About Christy Caby

Hi! I’m Christy, and I am a wife and mother of 2 young boys (ages 5 and 2). I first fell in love with Disney when my mom took me when I was a child. After that I proceeded to go to WDW for my senior trip with my friends, and I completed a year in the Disney College Program (working in merchandise at Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios). I shared my love of Disney with my now husband and sucked him in. He proposed at Disney, we honeymooned at Disney, we started bringing our boys before they were born and then as early as 8 weeks old. We then continued to vacation to Walt Disney World 2-3 times per year. We decided that what makes more sense than just moving to Orlando so that we could live the Disney life and be here for all of our favorite events and seasons every year. That is exactly what we did! Now we are at the parks a couple times a week and go for most events and major holidays. We can’t get enough and get to experience Disney in a whole different way. I love to share this love and passion for all things Disney with the world and hope that I can help others appreciate the magic that Walt Disney World has to offer!
