SPECIAL: Foodie Guide for Disney Villains After Hours Event

Disney’s After Hours events have become increasingly popular. These parties allow you to enjoy three hours in a Disney park with very limited attendance and free select snacks and drinks. Following a successful reception in 2018, Disney has rolled out After Hours to through much of 2019 as well. This summer, Disney is taking the After Hours events to an entirely new level (and satisfying a long time fan fantasy) with a specially theamed villains party that is sure to be a real treat. We’ve got the scoop on some of the specialty food that will be available during the party. Catch all the details below.

Here are all the details from Disney Cast Member Alex Dunlap:

When the sun goes down, the villains come out to play at the all-new Disney Villains After Hours event at Magic Kingdom Park. On select nights from June 6 through August 8, 2019, you can experience all of the fun of a Disney After Hours event with a little wicked magic sprinkled in throughout the night. What’s more, tickets are on sale NOW! So I’m celebrating with this special Foodie Guide.

Like most Disney After Hours events, you can enjoy complimentary ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages included in the cost of admission. But wait, Foolish Mortal, there’s more! Throughout the park you’ll be able to find a variety of specialty food and beverage offerings available for purchase. From savory to sweet, the event features items inspired by The Queen, Cruella de Vil, Maleficent, Hades, Dr. Facilier, and even Emperor Zurg.

And that’s not all this Disney Villains After Hours event has to offer! In addition to low wait times at more than 20 attractions and experiences throughout the park, there will be special villainous enhancements to attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain as well as spooky event merchandise. You can also dance the night away at the castle stage, where a party DJ will be spinning some sick beats, transforming the entire Central Plaza of the park into a killer club scene. And when the party heats up, you’ll be introduced to your “Caretaker” for the evening, the Lord of the Dead, Hades, who arrives in a burst of blue flames for the all-new show, “Villains Unite the Night.” And you might even spot Maleficent the Dragon roaming for the first time ever at night – breathing fire as she creeps through the park with her signature wicked grin.

So if all of this info is sparking your inner-Disney Villain, check out all of these dreadfully delightful sweets and treats located throughout the park. And if you take any cute–uhhh … I mean EVIL! pics to share on social media, be sure to use the hashtag #VillainsAfterHours.

About Chad & Cindy Nykamp

Chad and Cindy met during their college days and both being huge Disney fans, it was a match made in heaven. They took their first family vacation to Disney World in 2004. Chad had gone as a child, but this would be Cindy’s first trip-a trip which she had dreamed of since she was a little girl. The trip was magical and began a Disney obsession that hasn’t stopped since. They traveled back year after year, sometimes many times a year. They watched their three kids grow up at Disney and inherit the same love of Disney. In 2010, their dream of living in Orlando became a reality. With Disney World as their backyard playground, they enjoyed even more time in the parks. Friends and family soon made them their go-to-people for Disney advice. With their love of Disney and desire to share that love and knowledge they gleaned over the years, they decided to launch DisneyLists.com in August of 2015. They still can’t believe how lucky they are to have such an amazing opportunity and will continue to share Disney with anyone who will listen!
