While a Walt Disney World vacation is one of the most magical experiences on Earth, the Cast Members working throughout the property make the magic happen. The Walt Disney World Resort employs thousands of workers whose jobs range from custodial and guest relations to ride operations and entertainment. Cast Members work particularly hard to bring the magic to life for each guest, and part of their duty is seamlessly complementing their work environment. Cast Members throughout the theme parks, water parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resorts all wear unique costumes that reflect their location and role. While all of the Cast Member costumes in Walt Disney World are amazing, there are some that stand out thanks to their amazing details, unique themes, and unforgettable look. 1 – Haunted Mansion

One of the most popular and iconic attractions in Walt Disney World can be found in Liberty Square in the Magic Kingdom. The Haunted Mansion brings guests into an eerie manor home where nine hundred and ninety-nine ghosts cause spooky and humorous happenings. While the spooks are the main attraction at the Haunted Mansion, plenty of guests love to visit the attraction to check out the maids and butlers who work there. Cast Members who are stationed at the Haunted Mansion are titled maids and butlers and are decked out in green and black attire with some eerie details. The maids feature green and black striped aprons and headbands with what look like bats on them, and the butlers don somber suits with formal tails and a vest.

2 – Dapper Dans

Guests who spend time on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom might happen upon the amazing Dapper Dans. The musical group is a barbershop quartet that entertains guests with Disney and old-time favorite songs, music, and humor. The Dapper Dans are immediately recognizable thanks to their unique costumes of crisp vests, which feature white and colorful stripes, matching colorful pants, and classic straw hats with a matching stripes of fabric.

3 – The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Perhaps the creepiest attraction in Walt Disney World, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, dominates Disney’s Hollywood Studios skyline. Guests who are brave enough to enjoy the attraction can enter into the abandoned Hollywood Tower Hotel and find themselves starring in their very own episodes of The Twilight Zone. The Cast Members who work at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror have some of the most recognizable costumes throughout Walt Disney World that help them to resemble bellhops from the 1930s and 1940s. The costumes are maroon in color and feature long coats with opulent lapels, buttons, and colors. The Cast Members top off their wonderful costumes with classic round hats featuring stripes that complement the rest of the outfit. Guests who enjoy a ride on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror can even spot the Cast Members who have worked at the attraction since its opening day – they sport gold epaulets on their shoulders.

4 – Impressions de France

While all of the Cast Member costumes in Epcot’s World Showcase are fantastic, one outfit in particular ties in the country’s culture with historical detail. Impressions de France is a film found in the rear of the France Pavilion, which takes guests on a tour of the country’s beautiful sights accompanied by music from famous French composers. The female Cast Members who work at Impressions de France wear beautiful costumes which were directly inspired by Edouard Manet’s painting “A Bar at the Folies-Bergere.” Guests who pause to consider the costumes closely will definitely recognize the similarity!

5 – American Adventure

One of the most patriotic attractions in Walt Disney World can be found in the America Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. The American Adventure tells the story of the American people through a beautiful show featuring audio-animatronics, music, artwork, photography, and special effects. Before enjoying the show, guests wait inside a massive lobby that features a central dome and balconies. The Cast Members who work inside the lobby and theater of the American Adventure can be found decked out in accurate colonial attire, including maroon, gold, and white striped dresses with bonnets for the woman and red vests and pants accompanied by white shirts with frills for the men. A classic Cast Member costume that almost every guest in Walt Disney World can identify is the skipper ensemble from the world-famous Jungle Cruise in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland. The Jungle Cruise invites guests to set sail to exotic locations around the world and experience adventure and humor along the way. Cast Members who work in Storybook Circus wear costumes that further the theme of the area and give them the look of ringmasters. The unisex costumes feature short-sleeved tops with red, white, and blue touches, including epaulets and festive stripes across the front.
