NEWS: The Raglan Road Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival Returns to Disney Springs in March

We’re just two weeks away from St. Patrick’s Day and this year, Disney’s most famous celebration is back at Disney Springs. Raglan Road’s Mighty St. Patrick’s Day Festival will run for six days in March. Catch all the details below.

Here are all the details from Disney Cast Member Emma Martin:

St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and now is the perfect time to start making plans. My St. Patrick’s Day typically includes fully leaning into my 30% Irish heritage, enjoying a crisp glass of Magners Pear Cider and making sure everyone at my table gets the clapping right while singing along to The Wild Rover (if you know, you know). Lucky for me, I can do all of those things right here at Disney Springs!

The annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival is back this year from March 11-17 at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant. You will have the chance to enjoy the very best of Irish talent, a variety of beers and cocktails, classic Irish fare and more. If you’ve been before, you know the festival is a can’t-miss experience. And if you haven’t been, we hope to see you this year!

Irish Fare & Brews

New on the menu this year is a locally crafted seltzer, called “So Berry Les.” The name is a special tribute to John Cooke’s (co-owner of Raglan Road Pub and Cooke’s of Dublin) father Les, who found himself in the Guinness Book of World Records for setting a strawberry-buying record in 1977. So Berry Les was crafted in collaboration with Crooked Can Brewing Co. in Winter Garden, Florida, and is a light and refreshing hard seltzer infused with local Florida strawberry and Key Lime juice. I don’t know about you, but I’m berry excited to try this new brew! If seltzer isn’t your thing, never fear, there are several Irish beer flights and, of course, the classic Guinness, available to whet your whistle.

It’s hardly a trip to Raglan Road without their famous fresh-caught fish with chips! (Pro tip: You can also order fish & chips to go at the Cooke’s of Dublin counter). Or choose from a tasty selection of authentic Irish dishes like the Shepherd’s to Die for Pie and Executive Chef Mark O’Neill’s popular plant-based pie, This Shepherd Went Vegan. All of which pair beautifully with their wide range of Irish whiskeys, local craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails.

Live Entertainment

If you’ve ever walked by Raglan Road and heard the music floating through the open doors, you know they know how to provide an amazing entertainment lineup. And for the festival this year, they are flying in some of the top bands from Ireland including Jig Jam, known for their captivating brand of CeltGrass; the Lisa Canny Band, blending pop and hip-hop with traditional Irish rhythm; Emerald Shore, vibrant trad music – just to name a few. Of course, the fan-favorite Raglan Road Irish Dancers will also be performing throughout the festival and are ready to teach you a few dance steps!

And the fun doesn’t stop there! There will also be a face painter, giveaways, merchandise at the Shop for Ireland boutique and more. For full festival details visit: raglanroad.com.

On March 17 Raglan Road will open at 10 a.m., seating guests on a first-come, first-served basis, with a $20 cover charge for guests 18 and older. For those planning to celebrate during the other festival dates from March 11-16, reservations are encouraged and can be made through the My Disney Experience app or by calling 407-938-0300.

Ragland Road Irish Pub and Restaurant is an extremely popular restaurant at Walt Disney World. It is popular for dining, drinks, entertainment, and nightlife. It is a truly unique experience that you can’t find just anywhere. If you are considering this location, here are eight things that you definitely need to know:

8 – The restaurant’s location.

Ragland Road is actually located in Disney Springs. It was a restaurant that was there when it was known as Downtown Disney and managed to survive the new branding and theming for Disney Springs. It is located close to the water and close to tons of shopping and other experiences to enjoy in the area. It is a very lively area to hang out in and a great way to spend time on your Disney vacation.

7 – The atmosphere is a lot of fun.

You seriously will love the atmosphere for the restaurant. The servers and entertainment are lively and will keep you engaged and in awe. The restaurant’s dining room is vast and full of wood trimmings and Irish-inspired accents. The artwork and paintings in the restaurant perfectly match the theme and help make the experience even more authentic. 6 – There is live entertainment to enjoy.

There is a main stage in the restaurant where the entertainment happens. There is typically an Irish band that performs classic Irish-styled music for guests to enjoy. When they aren’t performing, you will likely get to see my personal favorite, the Irish dancers. Irish dancing is so lively and impressive. I can’t get enough of watching it. The dancers will also invite kids and other guests on the stage to teach them some of the dance moves and let them try it out. It makes for a really great, entertaining time for everyone. 5 – There are multiple food services.

You will find that this restaurant is open to cater to various meal options. There is a brunch service on the weekends that includes Irish breakfast options mixed with other brunch favorites. You can also dine there for lunch and dinner services. Since the restaurant is popular for nightlife, there is also a special late-night dining menu that still keeps many of the delicious menu items available for the crowds that come to close down the place early into the morning. This makes it extremely flexible to fit into your plans, depending on what works best for you and your group.

4 – The nightlife at the location is amazing.

Between the music, food, drinks, and atmosphere, it makes this location a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy the nightlife at Disney Springs. You have everything you need right at the location, so there isn’t much of a need to hop to other bars. It is a unique experience that is fun for everyone and has something to offer for each member of your party. This helps to ensure that everyone in the party will have a fantastic time.

3 – The location hosts special events.

For events like St. Patrick’s Day, New Year’s Eve, and various other significant holidays, there are typically special events. These events can include unique entertainment, drink specials, special food items, and more. Be sure to check the website if you will be in town over holidays as you may find one of these events are being hosted, and you definitely won’t want to miss out on those.

The dessert list at the restaurant is far more than just a couple of dessert options. You have around 10 different dessert options on the menu to pick from. The Rockey Road to Raglan is delicious! If you have a sweet tooth, then you will definitely want to make sure to save room so that you can sample one of these delicious treats.
