Marceline Market on the Disney Wish – What You Need to Know

When dining on the Disney Wish, the latest Disney Cruise Line ship, there is no shortage of fantastic dining options for families. While the Disney Wish offers upscale table-service experiences throughout the day, families can enjoy quick, convenient meals and snacks with more casual walk-up options than ever before. The main dining location is the new Marceline Market. Learn more below.

1 – Marceline Market

If you sailed on the other Disney Cruise Line ships, you’d be familiar with Cabanas, the buffet dining location on the other four ships. The Disney Wish has an all-new main dining location that guests will love. Named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri, Marceline Market is a stylish food hall inspired by popular marketplaces from around the world. Marceline Market is a casual, walk-around dining experience for breakfast and lunch, followed by table-service dining at dinnertime with entrees cooked to order.

2 – Hand Washing Area

Like other cruise ships, you’ll find a hand-washing area before you enter the restaurant. Guests are strongly encouraged to wash their hands before they dine.

3 – Global Menu Options

At Marceline Market, guests find an ever-changing menu. Featuring ten food stalls and a café-style beverage bar in the center, the restaurant feels like an old industrial loft converted into a bustling marketplace with a distinctly Disney design twist. Because at this locale, the local proprietors are Disney characters, with each station inspired by beloved animated films such as “Tangled,” “Ratatouille,” “Alice in Wonderland,” “Zootopia” and more.

These storied shopkeepers curate a wide-ranging variety of freshly prepared cuisines for the whole family, including American classics, international specialties, comfort foods, seafood, soups and salads, vegetarian and plant-based fare, baked goods, and desserts. And at breakfast, there are plenty of Mickey waffles!

4 – Seating Options

There are a lot of different seating areas with indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of ocean views. Take a look at some of the seating options in the photos below.

5 – Thoughts on the Food and Experience

We ate breakfast every morning and ate lunch once at Marceline Market. We really enjoyed the food quality, choices, and overall experience. In the morning, I ordered an omelet, and it was delicious. I also enjoyed my fair share of Mickey waffles. We feel the food offered in the casual dining category on Disney Cruise Line is much better than other cruise lines we’ve sailed on. While we also enjoyed our lunch, on the other days, we had lunch on Castaway Cay and then also really enjoyed lunch at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods. Our three-night cruise offered fantastic themed dining at the main restaurants, so we never needed to grab dinner at Marceline Market.

When comparing the restaurant to Cabanas on other Disney Cruise Line ships, we feel that the overall dining experience is better because of better food choices and the way the restaurant is set up with Cast Members serving the food. We highly recommend Marceline Market and think you’ll love it as well.

6 – Marceline Market Cafe

For an additional fee, coffee drinks, cocktails, and specialty drinks can be ordered from the full-service bar in the center or the market. This was a very busy place in the morning as many people wanted to get their coffee before getting breakfast.

7  – The Disney Wish

The Disney Wish offers three- and four-night cruises to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, from Port Canaveral, Florida.
