1 – 2024 EPCOT Eat to the Beat Concert Series Lineup Announced
The 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival kicks off on August 29. A popular offering during the festival is the Eat to the Beat Concert Series, which features favorite artists performing multiple nights. 2 – DVC Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort Now Open
Last year, Disney Vacation Club announced that the cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground would become the 17th DVC resort and become The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness—A Disney Vacation Club Resort. The old cabins are being replaced with new cabins with a new design. The first set of cabins is now open, and we recently had the opportunity to tour them. Learn more at the link below!

5 – Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and TRON Lightcycle / Run to Use Standby Line During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Walt Disney World has confirmed that during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, both Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and TRON Lightcycle / Run will have standby lines and will not use virtual queues. At this time, both attractions require virtual queues during regular operating hours.

8 – Disney Cruise Line Announces Exciting New Partnership to Bring DCL Vacations to Japan
Disney and Oriental Land Co., Ltd. (OLC) announced this week a new agreement that will bring year-round Disney cruise vacations to Japan. Oriental Land Co., Ltd. owns and operates the Disney theme parks in Japan based on its agreement with Disney. Under a recently signed agreement, OLC will build and operate a Disney-branded cruise business in Japan, expected to commence by early 2029. 9 – Cocktails and Charity: The Edison’s First-Ever Bartenders Bash Ignites Central Florida’s Mixology Scene
The Edison at Disney Springs, the gothic-style restaurant known for its unique combination of crafty cocktails and dazzling entertainment, is eager to announce its first-ever Bartenders Bash, co-sponsored by Bacardí. On Thursday, August 22, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., The Edison will host an exceptional evening, featuring mouth watering creations and a bit of friendly rivalry amongst Central Florida’s top mixologists, like Blake Cain from Mather’s Social Gathering, Letisha Diaz from Prato in Winter Park and Chelsea Gilpin from The Edison. During the event, guests will sample and vote on cocktails crafted by local mixologists, while enjoying expertly prepared bites from various food stations. Alongside the culinary experience, the night will feature a silent auction with the proceeds benefiting Give Kids the World Village, a leading nonprofit organization offering cost-free vacations to critically ill children and their families.
