After a few weeks of quiet, we’ve finally have some exciting news from Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World. This week, Disney Cruise Line revealed the upcoming Disney Destiny and we’ve got all the details on what guests can expect to experience on the new ship sailing in November 2025. Walt Disney World is gearing up for Halloween, and we have some heartwarming news about zebras at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Read about these stories and more below.
1 – Disney Reveals Special Halloween Party Food Options
During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there are plenty of spooky food and beverage items for guests to enjoy. Some of them are also available in Magic Kingdom during regular business hours. 2 – Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Kicks Off Next Week – Many August Dates Sold Out
It’s hard to believe, but it’s now Spooky Season at Walt Disney World, and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party will kick off next Friday, August 9! Tickets for August have been selling out. As of publication, only two party dates remain in August, August 27 and 30. If you want to attend a specific party date, we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as possible. You never know when they will sell out (and we expect all dates will sell out).
3 – Disney Cruise Line Reveals the Disney Destiny
This week, Disney Cruise Line revealed the upcoming Disney Destiny. Beginning in November 2025, the Disney Destiny will draw on the legacies of Disney’s larger-than-life heroes and villains to forge a legendary cruise vacation steeped in the lore of illustrious Disney stories. The new Disney Cruise Line ship will debut one-of-a-kind venues and experiences that complement the extraordinary entertainment, world-class dining, and unparalleled hospitality that make every Disney Cruise Line vacation legendary.
Part of Disney Cruise Line’s unprecedented period of growth and expansion, the Disney Destiny – sister ship to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure – will sail its maiden voyage from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in November 2025, followed by an inaugural season of four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean, including visits to one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.

4 – ‘The Lion King’-Inspired Dining Experience Coming to the Disney Destiny
