NEWS: New Menu Revealed for Harambe Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Harambe Market has been closed for refurbishment since October 2025. When it reopens, it will open with a brand-new menu. Today, we got a look at what we can expect. Before anyone gets excited, the new menu will look a lot like the standard counter-service menus across the Disney parks.

With Restaurantosaurus closing on February 2, 2026, Animal Kingdom is in need of an alternative dining location to provide additional capacity and the traditional theme park offerings (think burgers and chicken fingers) of the closing location. Harambe Market seems to be the solution. When Tropical Americas Land opens in 2027, it will include a large counter-service dining location. There is no word on whether Harambe Market will return to its original African-inspired menu. We really hope so.

For now, here are some highlights from the new menu.
