Wow! It was a week of big news out of Disney World. We got opening dates for eight attractions and shows along with a sneak peek at the new Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. 3 – NEWS: Disney Announces Opening Dates for 8 Attractions & Shows Including Big Thunder Mountain, Rock n Rollercoaster, Bluey, New Soarin’, Disney Jr. Live, Animation Courtyard & More

4 – Opening Date, Preview & Details Revealed for Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
The big day is almost here. Disney World has announced the opening date of the reimagined Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom. Disney Imagineering has also released details, along with a preview of what guests can expect. This is going to be a major upgrade over the original version of the attraction and we can’t wait!
5 – EPCOT Restaurant Unveils New Menu and Dining Experience
At Walt Disney World, Signature Dining experiences showcase the best Disney has to offer on the dining front. A world away from chicken fingers and burgers, Signature Dining Restaurants offer exceptionally fine dining experiences and some of the best eats we’ve ever had. Takumi-Tei, a Signature Dining location in the Japan pavilion at EPCOT, recently unveiled a new menu and it’s something special.
6 – New Discount for DVC Members
If you’re looking to do the Disney World Parks like a rock star, there’s nothing better than a VIP Tour. VIP tours can be booked for 7 to 10 hours for groups up to 10. VIP tours include private transportation to and from your hotel as well as between parks throughout the day. More importantly, your personally guided tour will allow you to skip the font gate and the lines (essentially unlimited Lightning Lane). DVC members can now get 20% off VIP tours which brings the price down to $315 to $665 per hour, per party, depending on the day the tour is booked. This is not cheap. However, split 10 ways it isn’t that much more than a Lightning Lane Premier pass per person.
7 – Disney Releases New Episode of We Call it Imagineering
We Call it Imagineering is a fantastic series on Youtube that takes viewers behind the scenes to explore what it takes to make the magic. The latest episode was just released and it’s a great one. This episode explores the process of creating the Disney Adventure, Disney Cruise Line’s newest and largest ship ever.
