Hard to believe, but we’re halfway to Halloween which means Disney is releasing a lot of information on fall festivities. This week, Disney Word announced the date and shared a lot of details on the 2026 Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party. Additionally, dates and details were release for the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. We have aerial photos showing the progress being made on the largest expansion project in Magic Kingdom history include the new Cars area and Villains Land. Disney gave us a “shriek” peek at a bunch of Halloween merchandise coming this fall, and announced a new passholder exclusive tumbler and special treat. 1 – Disney Announces 2026 Food & Wine Festival Dates & Details
I know you aren’t supposed to have favorites, but for us the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is as good as it gets. Great food and drink, entertainment, games and more, make this the best part of fall. Disney just released the dates for the 2026 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival along with details on what guest can expect this year. We’re already making plans and hope you are too.

The dates of the 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom have been announced along with some party details! We love this special event and go every year.
3 – Magic Kingdom Aerial Photos Show Expansion Progress Including New Wall Surrounding Big Thunder Mountain
Big things are happening at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Magic Kingdom is undergoing its largest expansion in park history with the addition of Cars and Villains themed lands. This is on top of the extensive refurbishment of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Recently posted aerial photos show construction process of a massive section of land along with a new wall going up around Big Thunder.

4 – Disney Provides “Shriek” Peek at Halloween Merchandise Materializing This Year
We’re halfway to Halloween, and that means Disney is conjuring up loads of announcements on everything awesome coming to Disney World this fall. Naturally, there is going to be awesome new merch, and we got a ‘shriek” peek at a lot of it this week.
5 – New Passholder Exclusive Tumbler Added to V.I.Passholder Merch Lineup
V.I.Passholder Days start soon and Disney has added a new passholder exclusive tumbler and a special treat to the lineup of merchandise available just for Disney World’s most loyal fans. The tumbler will be available at a number of quick service food locations with the purchase of a non-alcoholic drink. The new dessert, a chocolate cake pop covered in dark chocolate and finished with a drizzle of Werther’s Original caramel will be available to passholders at Karamel-Kuche in the Germany pavilion at EPCOT.
6 – Guide to Halloween on the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line
Throughout the year, Disney Cruise Line offers several special themed cruises. One of the most popular are the Halloween on the High Seas cruises. Disney Cruise Line goes all out with Halloween decorations, characters in their costumes, special events, entertainment and more. Not to mention trick-or-treating at sea of course! If you love Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, you are going to lose your mind on a Halloween cruise.
7 – Disney Unveils Reimagined Wish Lounge
Every year Walt Disney World hosts a festival of sorts that most guests have never heard of. Most guests won’t be part of the festivities, but it’s the best thing to happen at Disney World all year. This is the Week of Wishes. A week where Disney celebrates its partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation (more information on Make-A-Wish below). As part of the celebration this year, Disney World rededicated a newly reimagined Wish Lounge.
