Chocolate… a Disney Fan’s best friend! We’ve tasted our way through Disney World and have settled on what we think are the eight best chocolate treats on Disney World property. If you or someone traveling with you to Disney World is a chocolate fan – be sure to snag a few of these chocolatey treats along the way!

8 – Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar

Location: Theme Park Refreshment Carts

What would a best chocolate treat list at Disney World be without the oh-so-popular and delicious Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar?! There is just something about this vanilla ice cream with a chocolatey coating in the shape of Mickey that exudes Disney vacation with every bite.

7 – Chocolate Fudge

Location: Main Street Confectionery @ Magic Kingdom

Another incredible chocolate treat can be found at the Main Street Confectionery — fudge! The confectionary serves two different chocolate fudge options: one with M&M’S Minis and Pretzels and one with chopped TWIX. If you’re not a fudge fan, you can find other chocolatey goodness such as chocolate cupcakes, chocolate cookies, and chocolate cake pops at the Confectionary.

6 – Mousse au Chocolat

Location: Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie @ France Pavilion, Epcot’s World Showcase

All treats we’ve tried that come out of Les Halles have been excellent in their own wonderful ways. Well, the Mousse au Chocolat is no different! In fact, it’s a favorite of ours. The rich, creamy chocolate mousse doesn’t overwhelm with its airy twist. Topped with crunchy circle sprinkles, we find ourselves enjoying this treat time and time again.

5 – Mickey Chocolate Dipped Cake Pop

Location: Big Top Souvenir/Treat Shop @ Magic Kingdom

Such a classic chocolate treat found at Disney World – the yummy cake pop! A creamy yet thick cake batter on a lollipop stick, coated in chocolate and sprinkles in the shape of Mickey… sign us up! You can choose between vanilla, red velvet, or chocolate cake – but of course, with this article, we would highly recommend chocolate.

4 – Ice Cream Martini

Location: L’Artisan des Glaces @ France Pavilion, Epcot’s World Showcase

Alright, adults, you are reading this correctly – a Ice Cream Martini! Just make a stop by the France Pavilion for 2 scoops of ice cream with a shot of Grand Marnier, whipped cream, and vodka or rum. We’ll take two, please!

3 – Salted Carmel Fudge Brownie

Location: Karamell-Küche @ German Pavilion, Epcot’s World Showcase

While Karamell-Kuche is popular for their renowned Werther’s selections, our favorite way to taste this delectable Carmel is by partnering it with chocolate of course! Our chocolate treat selection at this spot would have to be the Salted Carmel Fudge Brownie. A beautiful partnering of flavors both in appearance and in taste!

2 – Almost Half-Pound Chocolate Chip Cookie

Location: Gideon’s Bakehouse @ Disney Springs

Gideon’s Bakehouse is an Orlando favorite offering unique cookies and cakes. The bakehouse is best known for its “almost half-pound” cookies that take over 24 hours to create. The original chocolate chip is loaded with a ridiculous amount of chocolate chips and is hard to beat. For chocolate lovers who have crossed the line between love and obsession, the triple chocolate chip which features 5 kinds of chocolate (go figure) takes it to the next level. Double frosted cakes are also enticing. There are also secret Limited Edition first come first serve desserts offering fun and unique surprises throughout the year. Gideon’s is extremely popular and many items usually sell out. Be prepared to get to Disney Springs early in the day for the best chance to get into the restaurant. There is a virtual queue for the restaurant that has known to be hours long! The wait is worth it!

1 – Decadent Drinking Chocolate

Location: Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop @ Disney Springs

Chances are if you’ve walked by the Ghirardelli Chocolate Shop at Disney Springs, you’ve been unable to resist entering the building. The sweet chocolate aroma pours out and those sweet treats beckon those walking by! Our top chocolate selection here would have the be the Decadent Drinking Chocolate. Melted semi-sweet chocolate chips provide a very rich dose of chocolate with every sip.
