DISNEY NEWS ROUNDUP: Free Dining; Room Sale; Tons of Flower & Garden Info; New Cruise Ship Preview & More

It’s been a while since our last Disney news roundup and a lot has happened. Disney has announced some special offers including Free Dining. Over at EPCOT spring has sprung and the 2026 International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing. We have full details on festival offerings, menus, merch previews and more. Disney Cruise Line launched a new ship and we have a preview. All this and more below in this week’s news roundup.
1 – Disney Announces Free Dining Offer for Select Guests for Very Limited Time
Free Disney Dining Plan offers are our favorite of all the Disney World sales offers. For a very limited time qualifying Disney World guests can get a FREE dining plan with the purchase a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option! If you don’t qualify for this offer, stay tuned and keep an eye on your morning DisneyLists email. We have a feeling you’ll be getting an alert from us about an additional free dining offer soon.
2 – Disney Releases Full Details on Multiple New Experiences Coming to Hollywood Studios
Animation is what started it all and has always been at the heart of the Walt Disney Company. That’s why we’re excited for the opening of the completely re-imagined Animation Courtyard at Hollywood Studios. Disney has released details about a variety of new experiences guest will be able to experience when this corner of the park reopens.
3 – Disney Releases Full Details for 2026 Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT
It’s here! Our personal favorite festival, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has started. The weather is perfect, EPCOT is decked out with amazing flowers and topiaries, and we think the food offerings at the festival kitchens are the best of all the EPCOT festivals (shhh, don’t tell Food & Wine).

4 – Disney Releases Full Menus for 2026 Flower & Garden Festival
No matter how cold it is outside right now, spring has sprung at EPCOT. How do I know? Because 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival has started and festival menus are out! The Flower and Garden Festival opened March 4, 2026, and runs through June 1, 2026. This year’s festival features over 20 outdoor kitchens and more than 75 new menu items! That’s right more than 75 delicious new food and drink choices to buy. I have not officially confirmed, but I’m pretty sure this is a festival record!

5 – Flower & Garden Festival Merchandise Sneak Peek
While much of the country is still shoveling snow, the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is under way. If you haven’t made it over to EPCOT’s most beautiful festival of the year yet, we have a sneak peek at some of the great merch that will be available.
Check out details and photos below.
6 – Disney Announces New Room Sale – Up to 30% Off
Heads up! There’s a new room sale offer from Disney just in time for Summer planning. Unlike many offers that apply only to select resorts, there’s something for everyone here. This offer is available for a limited time, so if a trip to Disney World in on your list of things to do better jump on this.
7 – Disney Cruise Line Reveals 2027 Summer Itineraries & Themed Cruise Offerings
A Disney Cruise on Disney Cruise Line is an absolutely amazing experience that will completely redefine the standard for fantastic family adventures. We have done a lot of cruising on a variety of great cruise lines, but Disney Cruise Line takes the experience to an entirely different level. If we aren’t on a Disney Cruise we’re thinking about our next Disney Cruise. In fact, were packing right now for a very special cruise next week (more on that to come).
So, when we got the email from Disney Cruise Line a few minutes ago about the release of Summer 2027 itineraries our pulse raced a little bit. Once again, there are going to be some really exciting voyages and destinations along with some special themed cruises.
8 – First Look at Disney Adventure – Disney Cruise Line’s Newest Ship
It seems like we’ve used this phrase a lot lately, but Disney Cruise Line has a brand-new ship. The Disney Adventure is the latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line’s line up in what has been a period of expansion that (at least when it comes to the building of floating cities) can only be described as feverish. The Disney Adventure is completely different, in size and layout, than anything we’ve seen so far from Disney.

9 – Bluey & Bingo Now Sailing with Disney Cruise Line
Fans of the mega-popular Bluey and Bingo now have one more reason to set sail on a Disney Cruise. The duo are now appearing on the Disney Dream and will join the Disney Wish in June 2026. In addition to meet and greets, guests will enjoy Wakey Wakey with Bluey and Bingo a high-energy wake-up-and-wiggle party including Dance Mode!, loads of fun and super-charged giggles. And when it’s sleepy time, pop on your coziest PJs for the Bluey and Bingo’s Pyjama Party—packed with dancing, playful activities and endless Bluey-style laughs. Bluey and Bingo will also make appearance in the Oceaneer’s Kids Club for games and activities, and elsewhere around the ships for family fun and games.
