Another busy week on the Disney news front. We have opening dates and tons of new details for Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster, and a new Disney Dining Plan option coming next year. Two of our favorite resort perks have been confirm for next year as well. Reservations for rooms and packages for 2027 are now open, and we got a look at some great passholder exclusive merchandise and popcorn bucket coming this summer. 1 – Disney Launches New Dining Plan for 2027
The Disney Dining plan can be a great choice for many families visiting Walt Disney World. We chose to add on the dining plan for most of our trips for years. It can save you a little money, it offers a lot of flexibility and makes budgeting easier, and most importantly it removes having to worry about how much things cost at each meal so if you want the steak and dessert, you can and feel good about it.
Currently, Disney World offers two dining plans for guest to choose from. In 2027, a third option that is perfect for foodies that make dining experiences central to Disney World vacation.

Disney just announce the reopening date of Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring The Muppets and shared some new details on what guests can expect when the visit G-Force Records, now under new management. We now have the full song list including appearances by some of our favorite artists, surprise cameos, and more.
3 – Disney Confirms Two Popular Resort Perks Returning in 2027 with One Significant Change
There are a lot of reasons to stay on property when vacationing at Walt Disney World. Besides being immersed in the magic 24/7, there’s the Disney World transportation, free parking at the parks, and many more benefits. This week, Disney confirmed that two big perks are coming back in 2027.
4 – Disney World Opens 2027 Bookings & Packages
Yep, it’s time to start planning 2027 Walt Disney World trips. Disney is now taking booking for room, tickets and packages for next year. The more popular resorts will book up early during busy times of the year, so if you have specific date you want to visit it’s a good idea to lock in reservations early. We also have confirmation on some resort perks coming back with a couple changes.
5 – Disney Reveals Passholder Exclusive Merch & Popcorn Bucket
V.I.Passholder days start next month and will offer a bunch of special perks for Disney World annual passholders. One of those perks is access to and exclusive line of passholder merchandise and a passholder exclusive popcorn bucket.

6 – Impressions de France and Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Reopening Date Announced
Impressions de France and Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in the France Pavillion at EPCOT have been closed for refurbishment since February 22, 2026. Both films will reopen on May 10, 2026.
7 – Disney Adds 8 more Good to Go Days in April for Passholders
Good to Go Days are days that annual passholders can visit without park reservations. April Good to Go Days are the 20th through the 23rd, and the 27th through the 30th. Please note that block out days still apply depending on you pass type, and Good to Go Days do not count toward you maximum number of current park reservations.
