A Spooktacular Review of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

2 – Truly “Not-So-Scary”:

We can remember our greatest fear when we first purchased tickets to MNSSHP was that our kids would be terrified even though it says “Not-So-Scary” in the title. Well, Disney was right… it truly is not-so-scary. Thankfully, nothing pops out to scare anyone. It’s truly a family-friendly event. There were moments this year when our two-year-old held on tight to us. For example, when he saw the Headless Horseman galloping by. Besides that, the Villains at the meet and greets were very gentle with him while still keeping in Villain form for the rest of us. If your child is nervous with characters regularly, then yes, they won’t want to be meeting Villains. Our kids’ favorite moments were the trick-or-treating (no surprise there!), the rides, Scream-O-Ween Ball, and the parade and fireworks! Photo Credit: Disney Photo Snapper

We have had a long time love affair with Disney. We love the magic and the memories we've made at Walt Disney World! We follow all things Disney and have great experiences with being Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and RunDisney participants. From lodging to dining to Genie+ we have a spreadsheet for every occasion. Usually there isn’t a day that passes without some discussion of the master plan of our next trip to the happiest place on earth. Most people think we’re normal – until they travel to Disney with us.
