Epcot is a fantastic park with four neighborhoods with a lot of things to see. With over 1.2 miles to cover around the World Showcase alone, it’s easy to miss some of the hidden gems in the park, especially if they’re a little further from the path. If you’re looking to get the full experience, make sure you add the sixteen things you might have missed at Epcot to your must-do list.
16 – Bruce
After riding The Seas with Nemo and Friends, it can be tempting to head back into the park, but there is plenty to see in the Seabase once you exit the attraction. Take your picture inside the jaws of Bruce the shark and then head over to check out the other aquariums and learn about the over 4000 kinds of aquatic life found in the Seas.
15 – Fish & Chips
While passing through the U.K. Pavilion, make sure to stop and sample the Fish & Chips. If you’re looking just for a quick bite, the Yorkshire County Fish Shop is a quick service stand to grab your order and continue on your way. But if you have some time to relax, grab a pint at the Rose & Crown and enjoy your Fish & Chips in the comfort of an authentic English pub.
14 – Morocco Mosaics
The mosaic tiles in the Morocco Pavilion are incredibly beautiful pieces of art. King Hassan II sent actual Moroccan artists to design and create the pieces. The colors and patterns are so meticulously put together that you could easily believe they were perfect, though each mosaic has flawed tiles intentionally added due to religious beliefs.
13 – Voices of Liberty
The Voices of Liberty are an eight-member acapella group that sings in the rotunda of the American Adventure Pavilion throughout the day, often as a pre-show to the 30-minute stage show. They sing all sorts of popular and seasonal songs, and each note echoes perfectly off the walls in the rotunda of the building, filling the hall with music.
12 – Taiko Drums
Similar to the Voices of Liberty, the Taiko drums are played in the Japan Pavilion throughout the day. Matsuriza is the performing troupe, and their thunderous rhythms carry through the pavilion and out into the World Showcase. Always exciting and energetic, making time to stop and watch is rewarded with these incredible performers sharing their time-honored tradition with you.
11 – Karamel Kuche
In the Germany Pavilion, Karamel Kuche is a bakery full of incredibly delicious caramel treats. From the basics like caramel popcorn to the decadent Salted Caramel Fudge Brownie and the Caramel Cheesecake with Chocolate, you can’t go wrong with anything you choose here. However, you’ll likely find yourself trying more than just one item.
10 – Monsieur Paul
As a hidden gem in the France Pavilion, Monsieur Paul is a fine-dining restaurant located above Les Chefs de France. For a quiet escape to enjoy an elegant meal, Monsieur Paul provides some of the best French cuisine and some of the best restaurant atmosphere in the park.
9 – Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar
With over 200 wines to choose from, the Wine Cellar in the Italy Pavilion is not to be missed. Ask for recommendations from the sommeliers, who will help you sample some really excellent Italian wines. You can even purchase a bottle to share back at the resort if you find one that stands out as a favorite.
8 – Living With The Land
In the Land Pavilion, most guests scramble to get in line for Soarin’. Nestled nearby is the entrance to Living With The Land, which takes guests on a boat tour through the greenhouses and research facilities where Disney experiments with growing and farming techniques. It’s a relaxing 15-minute ride that is full of unique things to see and hidden Mickeys to find.
7 – Tangierine Café
The Tangierine Café is a beautiful spot to stop for lunch. The quick-service restaurant features Chicken and Lamb Shawarma or Falafel Wraps that are filling, refreshing, and delicious. Even if you don’t stop for lunch, you need to come in to try the Baklava – it’s truly memorable.
6 – Serveur Amusant
The Amusing Waiter is a troupe of French acrobats that will amaze the crowd with their balance and coordination. From juggling champagne bottles to the incredible chair balancing act, it’s always an imaginative and fun performance to watch. You may also miss the fact that no words are spoken during their routine, only whistles.
5 – Teppan Edo
Another hidden restaurant gem, Teppan Edo, is an incredibly fun way to dine in the Japan Pavilion. The incredibly talented Teppan chefs prepare your meal on the grill right in front of your eyes with their creativity and whimsical showmanship. It’s entertaining and delicious – a perfect combination.
4 – School Bread
At the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway, there is one signature snack that has its own fan-following. The school bread is a sweet bun filled with Vanilla Crème Custard, glazed with icing, and topped with toasted coconut. If you haven’t tried it before, it’s a definite must-do.
3 – Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
While Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie in the France Pavilion offers soups, salads, and sandwiches, the decadent desserts make it worth stopping in. From the Napoleons and Parfaits to the Macarons and Éclairs, there is certainly something there to satisfy your sweet tooth.
2 – Nod’s to Ratatouille in the Expanded France Pavilion
The recently expanded France expansion more than doubles the size of the existing pavilion, with a seamless transition between the original and new sections. There’s a lot to discover in the new section, and many nods to ratouilRatatouille to look for. Some include:

- Outside the theater are Chef Skinner’s scooter and Chef Colette’s motorbike, which make for fun photo opportunities for fans of the film.
- Guests can peer into La Cave D’Ego, a wine shop owned by famed food critic
- Anton Ego; the vintages of wine bottles on display hold special significance to the “Ratatouille” story in both the film and Disney parks.
- The health inspector who plays an important role in the film has an office located along the Alleé des Marchands.
- A Remy motif runs throughout the pavilion expansion, with his image incorporated into a manhole cover, park benches, iron railings, a newsstand, and a fountain.
1 – Canadian Gardens
In the Canada Pavilion, while your focus is drawn to the “Hotel du Canada,” in behind are the Canadian Gardens that combine the magnificent landscape of the country into one large garden. With boulders, a waterfall, and tons of flowers to see, it can be the perfect escape during the day at the park to relax and enjoy some quiet as you take in the natural beauty.
