Follow Along as We Sail on the Disney Destiny with Disney Cruise Line!

We are so excited to announce that we’re about to set sail with Disney Cruise Line for the Christening Cruise of the Disney Destiny, the seventh ship in the fleet. Our time will kick off with an exciting Christening Ceremony at Port Everglades and then we’ll head out to sea for a three-night Caribbean Cruise with a stop at Castaway Cay. 1 – Cruising

Chad and I have enjoyed twenty cruises over the years and like to cruise as often as possible. We have enjoyed seven cruises on Disney Cruise Line, and have loved each and every one. 2 – Disney Cruise Line

Disney Cruise Line has been making smiles at sea for over twenty-seven years! Since its inception, it has established itself as a leader in the cruise industry, providing a setting where families can reconnect, adults can recharge, and children can experience all Disney has to offer. We feel Disney Cruise Line is so special and have had amazing vacations.

The Disney fleet includes six ships: Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish, and Disney Treasure. The seventh ship, the Disney Destiny, will enjoy its inaugural cruise on November 20, 2025! The Disney Adventure with a homeport in Singapore is set to debut in March 2026! Itineraries include locations such as the Caribbean, Bahamas, Alaska, Europe, and most recently Sydney, Australia! Some of our best cruise experiences have been on Disney Cruise Line, and we love the unique experience only Disney can provide at sea.

3 – The Disney Destiny

The Disney Destiny will draw on the legacies of Disney’s larger-than-life heroes and villains to forge a legendary cruise vacation steeped in the lore of Disney stories. The new Disney Cruise Line ship will debut one-of-a-kind venues and experiences that complement the extraordinary entertainment world-class dining and unparalleled hospitality that make every Disney Cruise Line vacation legendary.

The Disney Destiny is the third Wish Class ship and is sister to the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. The ship will feel familiar to those who have sailed on the Wish and Treasure, but the theme is very different and there are exclusive offerings you’ll only find on the Disney Treasure. Here are a few exclusive offerings we’re most excited about:

• • Heroes and Villains Take Center Stage in the Ship’s Design & Entertainment Offerings: Through some Disney magic, your favorite heroes and villains, universally beloved for their strength of character and distinctive personalities, live in harmony on the Disney Destiny and will inspire guests.
  • Ship’s Stern Character – Spider Man: For the first time in Disney Cruise Line history, a Marvel superhero will be the signature stern character on the Disney Destiny, with a larger-than-life sculpture of Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots decorating the back of the ship.
  • The Grand Hall: The Grand Hall of the Disney Destiny is a living theater where heroes and villains from across the Disney universe take center stage and interact with guests in thrilling ways. Inspired by Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” films, the Hall includes a stunning statue of the Black Panther himself at the heart of the space.
  • Disney Hercules: “Disney Hercules” will be a brand-new, Broadway-style retelling of the Walt Disney Animation Studios film developed exclusively for the Disney Destiny.
  • The Sanctum: The Sanctum will be Disney Cruise Line’s first lounge inspired by the powerful sorcerers and mystical artifacts of Doctor Strange, featuring familiar icons like the Cloak of Levitation and spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj.
  • Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King: The iconic songs and legendary moments of “The Lion King” will come to life at Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, a first-of-its-kind dining experience celebrating the renowned Walt Disney Animation Studios film.
  • De Vil’s: An evening at De Vil’s piano lounge, located just off the Grand Hall, will be a lavish affair emblematic of the bar’s namesake, the fabulously over-the-top Disney villain Cruella de Vil.
  • Edna A La Mode Sweets: The all-new Edna Á La Mode Sweets will be a one-of-a-kind confectionary where a marvelous selection of handmade gelato, ice cream, cookies, candies and specialty treats.

Our cruise kicks off on Monday, November 10.  The Christening Ceremony will be at 6:30 p.m. that evening. During our cruise, we’ll post to Instagram with posts and add to our Instagram Story.
